Mr. H.H Akosah
Mr. H.H Akosah hails from Bekwai-Ashanti.He had his elementary school education at Bekwai Roman Catholic Primary and Middle schools. He furthered his education at Atebubu Teacher Training College where he obtained A-4 year Teacher’s certificate. On completion of the Teacher Training education, he was posted to R/C Primary School Bekwai-Ashanti and taught for five years. Following his success in the GCE ‘A’ level examination, he was admitted into the University of Ghana to read Psychology with Political Science and successfully completed the programme in 1991.
He was awarded MPhil degree by the University of Ghana in 1999. He acted as the Assistant Headmaster ofOppon Memorial Secondary School(OMESS) for some time. Motivated by the desire to deepen his administrative experience, he applied to the University for Development studies (UDS) for appointment, and was appointed as the Assistant Registrar. After working at UDS for over two years, he left to work briefly as Assistant Registrar at the University of Education, Winneba, before joining the staff of KNUST. He was initially assigned to the Personnel and Welfare Section at KNUST.
Mr.Akosah is currently the College Registrar for the College of Health Sciences. He has served in many capacities including Secretary to the Catholic Church at Bekwai, Chairman of Oppon Memorial Secondary School Welfare Association, Examiner for West African Examinations Council, Vice president of KNUST primary P.T.A, coordinator of IEA Voter Education Programme and Chairman/Secretary to several committees at KNUST.
He is married with four children.
