FPPS holds End of Year Thanksgiving and Breakfast Meeting for all Staff

KNUST Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPPS) on the 14th of December 2022 held a breakfast meeting and thanksgiving service to mark the end of an illustrious year at the Pharmacy Lecture Room 1.

The lively programme which was attended by all staff was moderated by Rev. Prof. Charles Ansah. He led all the staff to recount some of the amazing moments and achievements of FPPS throughout the year which he attributed to the grace of God.

Rev. Prof. Charles Ansah, taking his Biblical text from Matthew 11:1-5 stated that all staff should be grateful for the goodness of the Lord for strengthening them to achieve more within the year.

Crowning the programme, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST and a former Dean of FPPS, Professor Anto Berko Panyin the immediate past Dean and Dr Joseph Adu, the manager of the FPPS production unit were recognized for their outstanding contribution towards the Faculty and the University as a whole.

Also, Professor Kwabena Ofori Kwakye, Ms Comfort Nyamekye and Mr Clifford Osafo Asare were honoured for their invaluable service to FPPS and wished them well as they were due for retirement.

Professor Ellis Owusu Dabo, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of KNUST in his remarks congratulated the Dean of FPPS, Professor Samuel Asare-Nkansah and his management for honouring the staff in such a pleasing manner. He revealed that such gestures will motivate others to work hard for the Faculty and the University community.
