SMS Class of 1983 Donates GH₵45,000 Towards Legacy Project

The Class of 1983 of the School of Medical Sciences (SMS), has donated GH₵45,000 to support the ongoing SMS @50 Legacy Project, marking their contribution towards the 50th anniversary celebrations of the school.
The donation was presented on behalf of the class by Prof. Henry Sakyi Opare-Addo, who expressed the group’s joy in giving back to the institution that helped shape their careers.
“We are happy to give back to the school that molded us into the professionals we are today,” he said.
The Dean of the School of Medical Sciences, Prof. Akwasi Antwi Kusi received the donation, expressing profound gratitude to the Class of ’83 for their continued support and commitment to the development of the school.
The SMS @50 Legacy Project is centered around the construction of a multi-storey lecture hall complex aimed at enhancing medical education and training at KNUST.
