Dr. Mrs. Abigail Kusi-Amponsah Diji is a dynamic, hardworking and results-oriented general nurse and nurse educator at the Department of Nursing, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. She also doubles as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Nursing Science, University of Turku-Finland and is currently pursuing a fellowship programme with the International FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) Institute.
Abigail obtained her doctorate in Nursing Science from the University of Turku, Finland and her masters in Advanced Nursing from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She also obtained her bachelor’s in Nursing at KNUST and her postgraduate diploma in Education from the University of Education-Winneba (UEW) in Ghana. She is also a foundation fellow of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives and an examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
