Dr Ntim is a PhD scientist with a passionate interest in cancer biology, angiogenesis and cancer metastasis.

Dr E. Amankwah Ntim is a scientist, employed as a Lecturer and a researcher at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He completed his PhD in Germany at the Institute of Toxicology and Genetics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He has recently returned from Germany to continue his teaching and research in Ghana. His first current research focuses on the role of The Environment on the development of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia and Prostate cancer. Under this, his team is investigating to understand the role environmental factors such as diet and lifestyle have on the development and progression of BPH and Prostate Cancer. Secondly, he is also screening natural products for novel anti-angiogenic compounds in his quest to target the process of angiogenesis in metastatic cancer.  His current work employs a combination of mouse models, chick chorioallantoic membrane assays, molecular biology, cell biology and histology.
