I am Dr. Vitus, a veterinarian by profession. I obtained my DVM degree from Cuba in 1998. I also obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology and Disease Control under the One Health Concept ,from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2011. Between 2002 and 2003, I studied at Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan, where I obtained a postgraduate diploma in Molecular Diagnosis.I also obtained certificate training programmes in Advanced Disease Diagnosis Methods from countries such as the US and Kenya before embarking on a PhD programme in Clinical Microbiology at KNUST, which I successfully completed in 2020.
