Prof. Boakye-Gyasi, a recipient of the KNUST Vice Chancellor’s staff development scholarship programme in 2006, holds a B.Pharm (Hons) degree and a PhD (Pharmacology) from Kwame Nkrumah University and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He is an old student of Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon-Accra.
He has been a registered Pharmacist since 2007 and an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana. He also holds membership with the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research, the West African Society for Pharmacology (WASP) and the West African Network of Natural Products Research Scientists (WANNPRES).
