Dr Afia Marfo is a senior lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmacy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She has over 11 years of experience as a lecturer. Her research focuses on medication utilization studies on communicable and noncommunicable diseases, rational medication use, and medication therapy management with reference to chronic diseases. She has publications, attended, and participated in academic conferences globally in these areas. Dr Afia Marfo has a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy. Her PhD work focused on the role of the community pharmacists in the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases.
