Prof. Nicholas Titiloye obtained the fellowship certificate of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria in the Faculty of Laboratory Medicine, subspecialty of Anatomical Pathology (FMCPath) in 2008, having gone through the Academic Residency training with thesis in Pathological features of Primary Epithelial Breast Malignancies in an African Cohort. His early career training in immunohistochemistry and TMA analysis in Breast Pathology was supported by Post-Doctoral fellowship Grants from International Union against Cancer (UICC) -ICRETT at St James Institute of Oncology, University of Leeds Teaching Hospital UK in 2007 and 2009 respectively after which he became a life member of the Association of fellow of UICC. He also benefited from mentoring in Cancer diagnosis and genetics at the same institute through traveling grants provided by British Division of International Academy of Pathology (BDIAP).
