CHS organizes SIS Training for Exam Officers
The College of Health Sciences, KNUST has organized a day of training on the use of the Students Information System (SIS) for the various Schools and faculties exams officers on the 13th of May 2022 at the College’s ICT Laboratory.
The maiden training programme was structured to upgrade the knowledge of the exam officers in students’ registration, course registration, processing of results, and graduation through the Students Information System (SIS). The Students Information System (SIS) is an online application developed by the University Information Technology Services to manage student academic records.
Dr. James Oppong-Kyekyeku, the Exams Officer for the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences guided the participants through a hands-on session on the features of the web application and how it’s managed.

Professor Samuel Asare Nkansah, the College of Health Sciences Exams Officer in his remarks stated that the participants to practice and explore the use of SIS and should not hesitate to ask for help from other resourced exam officers when faced with challenges. He also urged the participants to be fully involved in examination-related activities in their respective schools and faculties.
The Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Professor Christian Agyare applauded the Exam Officers for their involvement in the training programme. He also stated that more practical sessions will be organized to bring up the level of excellence attached to all the College activities.
