The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has hosted the much-anticipated 10th graduation ceremony at the Great Hall from Wednesday, December 13th to Friday, December 15th, 2023 for the affiliated schools across Ghana. Members of convocation from KNUST came together to celebrate the academic achievements of 14,165 graduates from 76 affiliate Ministry of Health Training Institutions.

The atmosphere at the KNUST Great Hall was filled with jubilation and pride as graduates, families, and faculty members gathered to commemorate a decade of academic excellence. The ceremony showcased the diverse talents and accomplishments of the graduating class.

The Provost of the College of Health Sciences, Prof Christian Agyare welcomed all the students and congratulated them on their success. He stated that KNUST is a premier training institution whose reputation for quality training and development of health professionals in Ghana and beyond is unparalleled and that the mandate as a University is to develop human and institutional capacities by providing unalloyed training and mentorship for national health manpower requirements. He appreciated all the stakeholders in playing pivotal roles in the collaboration between KNUST and the Ministry of Health, for their support and dedication. As the graduates embark on new journeys, the ceremony served as a testament to KNUST's dedication to shaping future leaders and contributing to the intellectual and societal development of the region and beyond. “KNUST remains steadfast in its mission to provide quality education among its students”, he added.

The ceremony also marked the recognition of outstanding achievements, academic excellence, and contributions to community service. Graduates were applauded for their resilience. These Graduates were;

Concluding the event, the provost offered words of wisdom to the graduates emphasizing that as health professionals, you have to remember that at all times the interest of the patient is greater than any other interest.

The 10th graduation ceremony for affiliated schools at KNUST was not only a memorable occasion for the graduates but also a celebration of a decade of academic excellence and a commitment to shaping a brighter future through education.
