Ohene-Amoani Kwaku, the Valedictorian for College of Health Sciences - KNUST class of 2024
Ohene-Amoani Kwaku, was born on June 18, 2003, in Kumasi, Ghana, to Mr. Samuel Franklyn Amoani and Mrs. Faustina Amoani. Growing up as the eldest of two children, his academic journey began at the KNUST Basic School, where he graduated in 2018 as the top student of his batch.
He proceeded to St. James Seminary Senior High School, where he pursued General Science and represented the school in the 2021 National Science and Math Quiz. His senior secondary education culminated with remarkable achievements, including 8A’s in the WASSCE and being adjudged the 2nd overall best student in Ghana in the 2021 WASSCE.
Currently, Ohene-Amoani Kwaku is pursuing a BSc. Human Biology (MB.ChB), at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). His passion extends beyond medicine to computer programming, where he enjoys exploring the intersection of technology and healthcare.
Ohene-Amoani Kwaku aspires to advance medicine in Ghana beyond traditional methods by integrating technology to provide the best healthcare services to Ghanaians.
Kwaku’s Christian faith guides his principles of honesty, discipline, and time-consciousness. Outside his academic and professional pursuits, he finds joy in football and gaming, which help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
